Monday, September 14, 2009 at 06:31AM The last few months have been very busy. Sold six pieces in a show last month. It caught me a little of guard and now I'm scrambling to get work down for a an upcoming show in October. I'll be showing work at The Drift, a big show taking place along Main St. The piece below will be hanging at the gala opening and will be in a silent auction.
The title of the piece is Nest Egg.
Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at 07:27AM Ok, I know it's been a long time coming but I've finally started some new work and hopefully over the next few weeks I'll be able to post some of it. There is no real theme to this new work. After going through a dry spell with without any real ideas I've decided to just do whatever comes to mind and leave it as such, Some of the work has connections to the Hollow Men series and some doesn't. Any way here's the first one. It's titled "They Look Right Through"

I'm not really all that sure what I should write about the last year. It's been a bit of a mixed bag. Many projects were started, few were finished. I haven't been able to focus on much of anything really and I'm not sure if I can say why.
It's been a year full of rather ordinary daily task. I've had to return to full time employment which has been a bit of an adjustment. Trying to find time around a job to do everything else sometimes feels impossible.
Anyway, Tomorrow is a new year and I've got to give my head a shake and try to regain a bit of focus.
