More Finished Work

Here's a couple of more pieces I've finished.

Child 5sm.jpg Child 4sm.jpgI've got to reshoot the one on the right.  The size is not quite right.  I was hoping to have the first fifteen done by now.  I really need to be getting things done now, but I can't seem to speed things up.  I guess I've hit the limit to how fast I can work.  So far seven are done and the other half are almost finished so it's not that bad. Still this is only less than half of the total number of pieces I want to finish.  At the speed I'm working I think I might have them done by the end of November.

The amount of useful work I can get done in a day seems rather disappointing.  I might get only four to five hours  of good work out any day.  If I try to push it beyond that the work gets very sloppy and I get very cranky.  I'm too easily distracted as well.  Having my computer only a few feet from my work space is not the best setup.  Compulsive computer  surfing has turned into an effective way to avoid doing any work.

The best time I find to work is first thing in the morning before any other concerns from the day can grab hold.  I can easily begin working at five AM.  The down side of this is that I'm usually wiped out by nine PM.

This is one of the first times I've forced myself to stick to a theme.  I'm starting to see some interesting variations in the work I'm doing.  I seem to be heading to a rougher style over all and I'm finding it hard to keep focused on the project at hand.

It's all very much like an assembly line right now.  Having so much work on the go is very different for me but I very much want to get this idea finished.

The first proposal has to  be done by the fifteenth of October.  I'm not sure if I'm going to be ready in time.  Luckily there are a couple of more I can send out later but I really wanted to  be done for this first one.  All I can do is keep on working.

I'll set up a new gallery for the rest of this work as I finish it.
